Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to Alite — Student Planner (“the service”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don’t, please don’t use it.

Your account

• You need an account to use the planning features, and you must give an email address you control.
• You’re responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account.
• One account is for one person. Don’t share credentials.
• If you’re under the age of digital consent where you live, use the service with a parent or guardian’s involvement.

Your content

The subjects, assignments, exams, study sessions and notes you enter belong to you. We claim no ownership of them. We store and process them solely to operate the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

• Don’t use the service to break the law or to infringe anyone’s rights.
• Don’t attempt to access other users’ data, probe the service’s security, or disrupt its operation.
• Don’t resell or redistribute the service.

Availability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to keep it running and your data intact, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted availability, and you shouldn’t treat it as the only record of an academic deadline that matters to you.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alite is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including missed deadlines or academic outcomes. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service and request deletion of your account and its data at any time by emailing cs.alitecompany@gmail.com. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product develops. If a change is material, we’ll give notice in the application before it takes effect.
